Small Charities
Full-time employees or officers of a small, tax-exempt charitable organization or small governmental organization might be eligible to purchase our products with our Non-Profit License. Our Non-Profit License requirements are more restrictive than most such licenses.
To qualify, ALL THREE of the following must be true:
- You are a full-time employee or officer of a small, tax-exempt charitable organization or governmental organization.
- Your organization has fewer than 50 employees in total.
- You would use the DVD only for the non-profit activities of your organization.
The Non-Profit License does not permit use of the DVD in any for-profit contexts, including but not limited to consulting, paid presentations, workshops, company or hospital staff training, etc.
If your organization has more than 50 employees in total (not just in your particular department or division), you would need to purchase the DVD with the Regular License. The only exceptions to the 50-employee maximum are police and fire departments, science museums, and schools purchasing for use by multiple teachers who individually meet the School Teacher License Requirements. Larger non-profit organizations (e.g., hospitals, large government agencies, the military, etc.) need to purchase the DVD with the Regular License.
